Worship and the Coronavirus

Dear Congregation,

As of today we will have worship this Sunday, March 15 in the sanctuary, as usual.

As everyone is aware, the coronavirus pandemic is a very fluid situation. I am watching for instructions from our Bishop and the Governor to determine if we need to move to an online service to avoid gathering together. Currently, all Coronavirus infections are in central Arkansas. I have to assume this will spread and affect our area at some time.

If you are symptomatic of any type illness please do not attend church events. If you are worried or concerned please don’t attend. We will have plenty of worship services in the future and I will provide online content through Facebook Live if we need to cancel worship. Our Sunday worship will be online as usual this Sunday and following. Please watch online to keep pace with our Gospel Project preaching series.

The important thing is to stay healthy. Our community depends on our congregation to help feed people in need. That need may grow in the coming weeks and we need to prepare and be available. If the schools close, children and families will need our help.

Please watch for emails and social media to stay up-to-date on this situation. The link below will send you to our public Facebook page for online worship. We also have a private Facebook page for congregational information.

The second link below will send you to our church website where you can update your contact information to make sure you stay up-to-date via email, phone, text message etc.

Faithfully, Pastor Lee
