Pastoral Change Announcement

Pastor Lee Myane has served faithfully as the pastor of Prairie Grove First United Methodist Church since 2014. He has helped grow our ministries and our impact in Washington County while touching so many lives. Recently, Pastor Lee announced that he was leaving the United Methodist Church in response to God’s call to pursue other activities. We wish him well in all his future work for the Kingdom of God.

Our Church Council has been working directly with Brother Lee in his transition, along with the District Superintendent of the Northwest Arkansas District and the Bishop of the Arkansas Conference. The District has asked that former PGFUMC pastor and current Praise Team Bassist Audie Long step in as our part time pastor until the end of this year. The District and Conference are working on assigning a new full time pastor and we will share more information as we have it on that effort.

Please continue to keep our church and our community in your thoughts and prayer as we work to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World by connecting to God and each other, equipping ourselves for mission and ministry, and sending ourselves into the world to spread the good news through love and service.
